Hanging out riding with a really good friend of the family 1995

Ms. Mercedes (Spanish woman) is a friend, who my mom met in hairdressing school back in the 80's. Ms. Mercedes has a son & daughter 3 years older than me. I remember my mom was recovering from having major surgery the same year of 1995. Ms. Mercedes would come by the house and pick me up from Bloomfield and take me to church then First Assembly of God (now Cross Roads Community Cathedral) in East Hartford. Ms. Mercedes would run her errands and I would ride with her. Ms. Mercedes would leave everything up to me to decide where we would eat out at. For example, if it was Pizza Hut, we would order a large Pizza and Ms. Mercedes would pay for it, if it was Taco Bell, we would order the different combos Ms. Mercedes would pay for it, etc. No matter where we ate at after church Ms. Mercedes was treating and she didn't mind at all. I had a lot of great experiences hanging out with Ms. Mercedes.

It approximately 20 minutes drive from Bloomfield to East Hartford going the highway.
